PocketMod Character Sheet Redux

Ok, since my GoogleDoc has gone rogue on me, here is an idea of the pocketmod sheet. Here is the link directly to the jpg again. Hopefully it will work this time. I've also changed the pointer in my Pages link, so it should go to a better place, vis a vis my GoogleDocs. Sorry for the inconvenience.

  1. Well you've slaked my thirst for knowledge regarding your T&T char sheet. Looks, good, nice font. Google still hates me. It really does. Sometimes it won't even let me comment on my own blogs.

Anyway, I'm enjoying your insights on T&T, love the way your outlook on combat changed. If you grab a copy of the Arena of Khazan (solo 12) that has some fun stuff examples of using SR in combat. I look forward to seeing what you have to say about the magic system, and any solo play reports you might post.

    cheers,

    Lee

  2. Thanks for the comments, Lee. Really, I can't thank you enough. I started blogging because gaming has been my hobby for over 35 years and I find myself without a group. I also lost my best friend and gaming cohort earlier this year, so I don't have anybody to even talk to them about anymore. I started doing this hoping to have some "regulars" that I can talk to about the hobby and just share ideas with. It's been a little tough screaming into the ether, but it's finally paying off.

  3. Hey,David you're welcome and I'm sorry to hear about your friend. I'm still in contact with my best bud who I started gaming with back in 1980 (we started with T&T actually)so I can only imagine how you're feeling.

  4. I appreciate the kind words. We were always like those two cartoon dogs when it came to gaming. He was that big bulldog. He never swayed from AD&D. He always made it do whatever he wanted it to do. I was that little dog always bouncing around. I'm a system whore. I'll buy and read about anything gaming related. I'm always coming up with ideas that look great on paper but never seem to work as well as they should. I would parade these new systems and ideas past him, we would discuss them, and he would say "I'll play it if you want to run it", but AD&D was his thing. He liked making new classes, spells, and monsters, but he didn't tinker with the system itself very much at all.

Anyway, I'm going to try another run at Buffalo Castle tomorrow. If it works out I'll post about it and try to remember to put my character in the post this time.

  5. Well, our little group, in fact the whole RPG scene where we grew up, was completely Gamer ADD. As each new game turned up we'd grab it.

If you're not on there, maybe we can find some other "common ground"
